As a yoga teacher and massage therapist, I am passionate about self-care and encouraging others to find mental, physical and spiritual health. I feel that not only is it vital for wellbeing but also offers us a beautiful space to come back to ourselves, reflect, grow and blossom.
Massage and yoga are both amazing tools that allows us to find balance and peace, both physically and mentally. In their own unique ways they nurture and nourish the mind, giving space to those areas that need extra care. Combining the two together, they reconnect and restore the mind and body and allow us to find some relaxation and calm.

Whilst studying Contemporary Dance at university, I started practicing yoga regularly in as a way of developing my physical strength and flexibility. I soon experienced the overwhelming mental benefits that yoga also offers, and felt an urge to research this further. My inquiry led me to explore movement and meditation as a way of finding wellbeing, looking into forms of movement healing for my BA dissertation, exploring topics such as Shamanism and 5 Rhythms Dance. For my MA dissertation I continued with this research, looking into ways of finding freedom through movement improvisation. To me, yoga is an extension of these ideas, not just a physical practice but a way of understanding the self; a way of finding freedom within the mind and body, creating a connection with the present moment and discovering the secrets of the soul. As my yoga practice progressed over the years I felt a desire to pursue it further and finally decided to undertake my 200hr yoga teacher training with the hope of eventually bringing this gift to others.
Continuing my journey into wellbeing, I wanted to be able to offer massage as another way of finding peace and harmony. It's such a powerful technique that not only leaves you feeling calm and relaxed but also benefits and balances out all the different systems of the body. So in 2019, I decided to train in Swedish Full Body Massage, qualifying as a Level 3 Massage Therapist. Since then I have continued to take regular yoga and massage trainings and continue my learning into various techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage and Yin Yoga.
